He drew a TV News tower with the "Die without Art" sign on it. Nasc has included several things in tribute to the site and Twitter users who support him, including my blog, DwA.

With his young daughter Nasc has watched Disney's new computer-animated film "Up!", so he paid homage to the man with balloons in the work area. Can you find him? He's so little, I know. You can see a bigger picture here.]]> This morning was so boring in the school, so I’ve enjoyed the Twitter timeline and listened Papa Roach on my iPod until I saw my friend Nasc has published a new pixel art on his blog. He drew a TV News tower with the “Die without Art” sign on it. Nasc has included several things in tribute to the site and Twitter users who support him, including my blog, DwA.

As usually, I wanted to know more and more so I sent him an email. Nicolas is the head of Flash in a Web agency, based in Paris. His passion for the Pixel art certainly came from video games (8-bit games, where each pixel was important) and Lego, when he was young. Nicolas prefers 3D isometrics, because he thinks it's a bit like 3D handmade.

Nicolas is the head of Flash in a Web agency, based in Paris. His passion for the Pixel art certainly came from video games (8-bit games, where each pixel was important) and Lego, when he was young. Nicolas prefers 3D isometrics, because he thinks it’s a bit like 3D handmade.

One of his latest creations is a remake of an old Pixel art creation that reminded Tiananmen Square. Nicolas is pretty happy with this item, because he could apply new techniques of drawing. “Make Pixel Not War” took approximately 15 hours, because he worked each element separately and finally assembled them into a full scene, which allows him to reuse some.
